Dear colleagues and friends,
Greetings from Goa a vibrant, small state, palm-fringed beaches, tropical climate, and lively
nightlife!
Southern Chapter Conference of Society of Nuclear Medicine was launched in 1995 during Roentgen
centenary
celebrations at SVIMS, Tirupati. Since its inception every year the annual meeting of the
chapter is conducted as an academic event and a social get together for the members.The annual
meetings have been providing an opportunity for the practicing Nuclear medicine physicians and
technologists to stay up to date in their domains.
Continuing the legacy, this time we are privileged to organize the 30th Annual Meeting of the
Southern Chapter Conference of Society of Nuclear Medicine (India) Organized by NeuMoD
(Hubballi), at
Goa.
Neumod Digital PET-CT and Theranostics Centre stands at the forefront of molecular imaging and
precision medicine. Equipped with state-of-the-art Digital PET-CT technology and latest
theranostics at Hubballi, recognized as centre of theranostic excellence by International Centre
of Precision Oncology, Germany.
NeuMoD, Hubballi, is extremely happy to host 30th Annual Conference of SNMI -Southern Chapter
Conference.
The conference is scheduled on 28th, 29th and 30th of August 2026. The conference will provide
an opportunity to evaluate the available scientific evidence on Nuclear medicine practice and
also explore the future possibilities of the modality.
The program will be extremely useful for technologists, students, Nuclear medicine physicians
and other practicing doctors and will comprise of several expert lectures and panel discussions
& debates.
Goa is a unique destination that feels distinct from the rest of India, offering a mix of
tropical relaxation, intense nightlife, and a rich Indo-Portuguese heritage of a legacy of over
450 years of colonial rule. The state is generally divided into two distinct halves, each
catering to a different type of traveler: North Goa: The Party & Adventure Hub & South Goa:
The
peaceful retreat. South Goa is far quieter and is preferred by couples, families, and
those
seeking a "Susegad" (laid-back) experience. Beaches: Palolem is a beautiful crescent-shaped
beach famous for kayaking and "silent discos." Agonda and Cavelossim offer pristine white sands
and a very calm atmosphere. Best time to visit- Monsoon (June – September): The state
turns
incredibly lush and green, it’s a beautiful time for nature lovers. There are many tourist
places to visit in Goa, from families, young group of friends, children to senior citizens,
everyone will find something of their interest in Goa.
We hope this conference will be a wonderful way to keep abreast with the recent advances in
Nuclear oncology and also revisit the glory of basic Nuclear medicine procedures.

ABOUT SOCIETY OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE
The Society of Nuclear Medicine, India (SNM-lndia) was founded in 1967 with the aim to promote, encourage and help the development and advancement of Nuclear Medicine as a specialty in India. All the way through over about 52 years, the society through Annual Conferences, periodic regional meetings through its academic wings (Indian College of Nuclear Medicine and regional chapters) have been providing a great platform to our members for exchange of ideas and sharing experiences amongst scientists, doctors, technologists with active participation of people from industry.
- To promote, encourage and help the development and advancement of Nuclear Medicine as a specialty in India. To encourage research work in this field.
- To provide a forum for exchange of ideas and experience amongst scientists actively associated with the use of radioisotopes in medical sciences.
- To promote better understanding of the medical uses of radioisotopes among the medical profession.
- Solicit and receive subscriptions, donations and gifts of all kinds for realization of the above mentioned aims and objects.
- Make rules and regulations for the conduct of the Society and its activities and to alter the same from time to time, as and when necessary.
